How my journey began

Welcome

I’m a professional musician/recording artist that has received honors for academic and musical excellence from various professional organizations such as The Intercollegiate Music Association, Percussive Arts Society, The Music Educators National Conference and The National Black Music Caucus to name a few. My performance credits span the genre’s of gospel, jazz, classical and everywhere in between and I’ve been privileged to tour with several major artists.

As an instructor I’m very thorough with every student to ensure that each lesson is carefully tailored to there learning style.

Creativity, humor, exploration and FUN!!! It’s amazing how these key elements can help alleviate some of the common roadblocks that prevent students from reaching there potential. My goal as a teacher is to develop in each student a comprehensive understanding of not only theory and technique but also an understanding of how to interpret and create a sound they can call their own.

I currently serve as Minister of Worship & Arts at my local church here in Augusta, GA

Most of all I enjoy spending time with my wife and our 5 daughters!!!
